Surfing, Windsurfing and Kite Surfing
The wind and waves combine as they reach Anglesey to give rather exciting seas. Although the many protected bays usually provide safe swimming, if you want to find excitement on the water it's not hard to do! Rhosneigr, Cable Bay, Trearddur Bay and Llanddwyn beaches are all good spots for board surfers.

Windsurfing off RhosneigrAnglesey's prominent position on the northwest coast of Wales makes it a centre for wind sports. Windsurfing and kite surfing are both very popular. Rhosneigr is the centre, but other beaches are used, too.
