Cable Bay - peaceful and prettyAnglesey is blessed with a combination of lovely beaches and a timeless feeling. You can still enjoy the classic seaside holiday, poking around in rockpools with the kids, or paddling along big sandy bays. The resorts aren't too big, and you're never too far from a cup of tea and a slice of bara brith (that's Welsh fruit bread to the uninitiated).
There are plenty of safe beaches where your kids can take their first strokes in the sea - what a thing to remember! And they're some of the cleanest beaches in the country, too. Several of the bays are protected by headlands and have gently sloping sandy beaches, so they're ideal for swimming.
