Nestled in trees, built into the banks of a small stream and tucked behind big wrought iron gates.
Llynon Lodge started life as a gatehouse for Llynon Hall. It underwent xtensive renovation in 2009 and is now the ultimate stylish Anglesey rental accomodation. It has the feel, look and quality of a boutique hotel but all the privacy of your very own luxury cottage - the best of both worlds! Its old stone walls enclose a luxuriously designed house where you can leave behind your busy every day life and relax.
The Lodge is ideal for the sort of person who likes to foray out and explore, but also likes to curl up with a good book. It's a place where you can hear yourself think. Set in a small wood at the end of Llynon Hall's drive, just a mile from the village of Llanddeusant and Anglesey's only working windmill - Llynon mill - it really is in an exceptional location.
The renovation has made extensive use of natural materials, with stone, wood and slate to the fore, but set in a contemporary style. The hall gives onto a dining room and fireside snug, with a compact but fully-equipped kitchen beyond.

The double bedroom, which has a balcony overlooking the glade, is on the first floor up a short flight of stairs from the hall. The bathroom is also on the first floor, and has a magnificent square bath with mosaic detailing, plus a power shower and big square basin.
Downstairs is the large lounge (with a fully-featured entertainment centre) and the twin bedroom. The lounge has French windows which open onto a large deck.
Both the bedrooms have views across the stream into the trees. Underfloor heating makes the Lodge a very comfortable place to stay at any time of the year.

Llynon Mill - still working away!Llynon Lodge is close to the lovely Llynon windmill - you can see round the historic mill and enjoy tea and cakes made with flour from the mill itself.
As ever, the sea is never far away - Porth Tywyn Mawr (Green Coast Award), Porth Trefadog, Porth Trwyn and Church Bay / Porth Swtan (Blue Flag Award) are all just 10 - 15 minutes drive away.
