New Lodge holiday cottage, Trearddur Bay, Anglesey - sleeps up to 6New Lodge is a real treat of a holiday cottage. It's an old "character" property from the outside but contemporarily "cool" on the inside. A recent refurbishment means the cottage offers spacious open plan living decorated in cool creams offset by bold print fabrics with an extensive garden and good parking area. A fantastic, versatile cottage which will work equally well for: family holidays, parties of up to six people or couples during winter and summer months.

On the ground floor, the garden entrance leads straight into a well equipped kitchen with breakfast bar which has lovely views over New Lodge's lawned garden. From here its two paces into the dining area of the living room, one end of which centres around the dining table which will comfortably sit six. At the other end is a luxurious sitting area, with sofas and armchairs and beautiful seascape photographs on the wall, all warmed by a log/coal burner. Also on the ground level is the master bedroom with a double bed and a seperate large bathroom. Upstairs are New Lodge's two other attic style bedrooms with sloping ceilings, both of which have twin beds.

New Lodge, believed to have been built as a gatehouse for the Stanley family's Penrhos, Holyhead estate, stands on a private road in a tranquil setting adjacent to the inland sea but is just a ten minute walk from Trearddur Bay's Blue Flag main beach and high street. A holiday at New Lodge offers the coastal experince but from a rural and peaceful home.
